Created by the Bahia Foundation the Orinoco Development Fund helps to bring medical relief, housing assistance, business grants and scholarships in the afro-caribbean Garifuna community of Orinoco, Nicaragua. The program is managed by an on-site Program Director.
Funder for upcoming documentary on pelvic steaming -- a universal, ancient women's health practice suppressed for hundreds of years and now re-emerging as a social media fad. Can this ancient practice be the next innovation in women's medicine? Bahia is sending a documentary crew to 6 countries around the globe to learn more. Projected release date: 2024
